Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer

Pickup from Kuala Namu International Airport. Transfer to Bukit Lawang (approx. 4 hours). Relax and overnight in Bukit Lawang.

Day 2: Jungle Trek Bukit Lawang

Full day jungle trekking in Gunung Leuser National Park. Spot orangutans, monkeys, birds, and gibbons. Learn about the ecosystem and medicinal plants from our expert guides.

Day 3: Village Tour & Local Experience

Village tour detailing daily life, visiting local homes to see tofu, tempeh, and brown sugar making. Choose between exploring the Bat Cave by bicycle OR a local cooking class.

Day 4: Bukit Lawang to Berastagi

Early morning departure (5-6 hours) to the highlands. Stop at a volcano viewpoint. Check-in at your hotel. Visit the vibrant Berastagi fruit market, Lumbini Natural Park (Buddhist Temple), and local hot springs.

Day 5: Berastagi → Volcano Hiking → Lake Toba

Wake up at 03:30 AM for the Mount Sibayak volcano hike. Experience an incredible sunrise, then return for breakfast. Depart for Lake Toba (5 hours), stopping at a traditional Batak house and Sipiso-Piso Waterfall. Cross by boat to Samosir Island. Stay 2 nights.

Day 6: Samosir Island Cultural Tour

Visit Ambarita Village (stone trial chairs, traditional Batak houses) and Simanindo Village (museum). Discover a village renowned for Batak Ulos weaving. Enjoy scenic views and local coffee.

Day 7: Samosir → Parapat → Medan Airport

Breakfast. Leave by boat to Parapat. Scenic drive back to Medan Airport (6 hours). End of your grand tour.
