1. Booking and Reservations
By booking a tour with Explore Sumatra Trekking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. A booking is considered confirmed once we have received your booking request and verified availability.
2. Payments and Pricing
Prices listed on our website are in Euros (€) and are subject to change without prior notice. However, once your booking is confirmed, the price of your tour is guaranteed. No upfront deposit is required; payment can be made upon arrival in Bukit Lawang via Cash (IDR or EUR).
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. If you need to cancel your tour, please inform us via WhatsApp or Email as soon as possible. Because we do not require a deposit, there are no strict cancellation fees, but we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice out of respect for our local guides.
4. Health and Fitness Requirements
Jungle trekking in Gunung Leuser National Park can be physically demanding. It is your responsibility to ensure you have a suitable level of fitness for the tour you have chosen. If you have any medical conditions, you must inform us prior to booking.
5. Liability
Explore Sumatra Trekking and its guides will take all reasonable steps to ensure your safety during the tour. However, jungle trekking carries inherent risks. We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that may occur during the tour. We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance before your trip.
6. National Park Rules
All guests must adhere to the rules of Gunung Leuser National Park. This includes maintaining a safe distance from wildlife (especially orangutans), not feeding animals, and not leaving any trash behind. Guides reserve the right to terminate a trek if a guest repeatedly violates these rules.
